The Maldives Tourism Conference 2019

It gives me great pleasure to inform you that as part of World Tourism Day 2019 celebrations, the Ministry of Tourism is organizing Maldives Tourism Conference, for tourist resort operators in the Maldives. The conference will take place on Friday, 4th October 2019 at Paradise Island Resort and Spa.

This one-day conference will be the beginning of an annual activity by the Ministry of Tourism intended for the tourism industry stakeholders of Maldives. Through this series of conferences, the Ministry aims to focus on key areas related to tourism development in the Maldive s. The conference will create a platform where tourism industry stakeholders and government policymakers can meet and discuss on important areas of tourism development in the Maldives paving way for better tourism development policies and strategies. This year's conference will be divided into 4 sessions.1. Terrorism and Security in Global Tourism, 2. Environment Protection and Sustainability, 3. Social Inclusiveness, Employment and Poverty Reduction Through Tourism and 4. A session with local artists.
