Expatriate Employment, Rules and Regulation of Maldives Immigration

This is a reminder that all tourist establishments should follow the rules and regulations of Maldives Immigration with regard to expatriate employment or hiring expatriate services. Compliance with laws and regulations should be upheld at all times. Please also note that when hiring contractors and subcontractors, establishments should ensure that the entities' expatriate workers are employed as per government laws and regulations.

Conformity to these laws and regulations will ensure and support the management on safety and security of the properties as well. This will also assist the concerned government authorities to attend and handle sensitive issues/ cases that may arise in the property, more urgently and efficiently.
